shirley chisholm State park
In honor of Shirley Chisholm from Brooklyn, the first African American Congresswoman as well as the first woman and African American to run for President, I created a visual concept that is as bold and bright as Shirley Chisholm while incorporating local flora + fauna. Executing and installing on all surfaces throughout the park creating a cohesive visual look and feel. across hundreds of acres.
Now the largest green space in NYC. With over 10 miles of biking and hiking trails, a pier for fishing and picnicking. Phase I opened July 2019, and Phase II in progress, totaling 407 acres total.
The Smirnoff Way
We created a community experience unique to Smirnoff, bringing people together in a 'city street.' The colors and graphic elements were inspired from Smirnoff's fun and vibrant brand guidelines. The space is complete with a DJ booth, photo op, a stoop with a cocktail cooler, community seating, bus shelter, and signage. The space was created to be adaptable and can be scaled up or down in size based on the location.
